The history of Carlos I dates back to 1889 when, in the city of Jerez, a master winemaker found in his cellar some barrels containing the most exquisite brandy he had ever tasted. From then on, Carlos I brandy is aged in American oak casks that once held the most select Amontillados and Olorosos wines from Jerez for 40 years, giving it an inimitable character.
TASTING NOTES
A deep amber colour accentuated with bold, gold highlights, Carlos I is deeply aromatic with notes of vanilla and cocoa. On the palate it is persistent, balanced, and complex.
